After nearly six months of work, I’m incredibly excited to finally share the 2026 Milwaukee Area Private Club Guide.
One of the things I’ve realized after years of playing, visiting and photographing private clubs around Milwaukee is how misunderstood private club life can be from the outside.
There are a lot of assumptions about who private clubs are for, what membership is really like, what the experience includes, and why people choose to join – and those assumptions don’t always match reality.
That was a big part of the inspiration behind this project.
Over the past six months, I’ve taken years of experiences, photography and relationships throughout Milwaukee-area golf and worked to put together something that helps explain not only which private clubs are out there and what makes them different, but what private club life is actually about and who it might make sense for.
The result is the Milwaukee Area Private Club Guide – an in-depth look at the local private golf landscape, including individual club snapshots, membership considerations, current projects and renovations and a broader look at the experiences and benefits that can come with private club membership.
Some of the clubs featured in the guide worked directly with me on their profiles, while others are represented through my own experiences playing, visiting and photographing them over the years.
I’m thrilled to have partnered with Milwaukee Uncut to bring this project to a much broader Milwaukee-area audience, particularly people who may have been curious about private clubs but never really knew where to start.
