Um, so Bree and I decided to make the very wise decision to go up to Minneapolis for the Vikings Packers game a couple weeks ago, which um, you know, it was a it was a disaster. Not only did the Packers lose, but we went up there to get content, and then um, you know, we go into the stadium, which by the way, very nice stadium. Need to give it to the Vikings. Doesn't have the tailgate atmosphere Lambeau does, but night, nice stadium. So we uh, you know, we get it get in and uh sit down, and then Cody, our editor, texts us about midway through the second quarter, and we, you know, we want to get those clips out as quick as possible while the motions are high during the game and uh informed us that the mics were not working well on about 60 to 70 percent of what we got. Um, so not only did that happen, then then we all know what happened in the game. I don't need to rehash any of that. Big win against the Jets last week, and hopefully we take care of business against the Falcons. But something good did happen. We we got to meet uh two Packer fans from New Zealand that were in town, Katie and Grayson, and then we found out they were coming to Milwaukee a couple days later, the Tuesday after the game. So we met up with them, took them around a little bit, and then had them on the podcast to talk all about their experience. They went to Green Bay before Minneapolis, then went to Milwaukee. They were in New York before that. They're kind of going all around, all around the country for seven weeks. So they were great to hang out with. Got to have them in here. Yeah, no, it's been good. It's been good. Um obviously our first couple days were in New York and that was chaotic. And then obviously we've traveled up to we traveled up to obviously Wisconsin. And uh we originally planned to go to a game at Lambo, but then the schedule came out, and then we had to kind of shift our plans, and that's when we met you guys in Minnesota.

So um you also don't have any outside influence when you're in New Zealand because we don't have football there at all. So you kind of just gravitate towards the team and you stick with it.

Because the Vikings fans I know around Milwaukee, like Shane Krangle, who wears Vikings overalls and paints his face, is so fucking annoying when the Vikings are doing well. At least he wasn't. I thought I thought a lot of Vikings fans would be like that. And um at least before the game, Bree and I had to leave at halftime because we had technical difficulties on the production we were doing. So um we didn't have a very good performance there, similar to the to the Packers in that sense, but we got to miss the meltdown. But so I can only speak to the the pre-game experience in the first half, but like yeah, I mean, people yelled skull at us and stuff, but in in a in a in a friendly jabbing way. And every everyone was nice. We talked to at the bars. I mean, ever mostly everyone talked to us, or they were polite. Yeah, I remember the first place we went, I think it was the crooked tap. Um, that was a good good brewery that we stopped at. Yeah, some guy like bumped me while ordering a beer and apologized, and he was a Vikings fan. I was like, they got some Midwest nice. Yeah, yeah. You're in Minneapolis. So um Minnesota nice. Yeah, shout out to the Vikings fans. I did not I did not expect that at all based on the Vikings fans I know in Milwaukee.

So and we we joined a really nice tailgate. Yeah, most of them were Vikings fans, and yeah, they were all really nice towards us as well.

So Caitlin actually just posted in this Facebook group, um, the Die Hard Packers fan group or whatever. And we got so many responses, and yeah, we had I think Jill read read Jill reached out to us and said come along. So after running into you guys at at one of the uh one of the bars, we ended up going there, and yeah, we did our first shot ski.

Um but yeah, that was uh that was a cool experience going there for the first time. And uh yeah, I I think Lambo, I'm looking forward to you seeing Lambeau at some point because it's such a special place, it's like in the middle of a neighborhood which is completely foreign. Like the thing about US Bank is um really nice stadium, but it's in the middle of downtown. And there it surprised me that there was only one bar. Yeah, what seemed like around the entire stadium because that place must just print money on game days, and you'd think it would get other traffic, you know, on the off days. Um you'd think there'd be more bars around, and then they had that concert going on, which was cool, but that um shuts down when the game starts. So uh yeah, even like the Pfizer, if you go to a Bucks game, kind of very close to where you guys are staying, like yeah, you can literally walk to like 30, 40 bars within a few blocks of there where you know I was kind of surprised it wasn't like that in Minneapolis. Um but then you came back, you've spent the last 24 hours in in Milwaukee.

We just had one of those over at Great Lakes, so at least you got one of those. Usually a fish fry. Yep. Some steaks. You usually see taxidermy on the wall. Like, you know, just deer heads on the wall staring at you. Yeah. Yeah, it's a good time. Oh shit, we forgot to get pull tabs, Bri. There's put there's pull tabs at those places as well.
