2026 Uncut Open: A Hole-In-One, An All-Women Duo & The Team Put On The Clock

On Saturday, we hosted our second annual sold-out Milwaukee Uncut Open at X-Golf at American Family Field!

A huge thank you to the 84 players who competed, everyone who stopped by, our title sponsor Annex, and the X-Golf AmFam staff for doing an amazing job and making things as smooth as possible!

Some firsts this year:

Our first-ever hole-in-one!
Congrats to Derek Wiel from the Erin Hills squad. He signed the ball, and hopefully it will be going on the walls next to some Brooks Koepka memorabilia from his ‘17 US Open Championship. Regardless, Derek and his friend Steve won a trip down Bernie’s Slide during a home game this coming season!

An elite field
Some of the waves included several past Wisconsin State Open champs

An all-female team!
One team was breaking barriers and showing the boys how it’s done. Thanks to Chix with Stixx for coming!

A player whose score didn’t get used at all…
One of the teams that finished in the money didn’t use a single hole score from one of their players. Ethan Graham fired a smooth 64 on his own ball, while his partner and former WSGA Matchplay champion Adam Garski fired a forgettable 77 after visiting JoCats and Potawatomi before the 6pm wave… I guess Ethan did too so I’m not sure what the issue was, Garski?

This was the first time a group got put on the clock thanks to Nate Moodie and the “Mayor of Green Bay”, Blake Ole. They picked it up a little on the back 9, so Bre and Richie were able to get home by 11:30pm.

And CONGRATS to our winners in both the Open Flight and Sheppard (net) Flight:

Open Flight: Michael Crowley/Daniel Romero

Sheppard Flight: Nick Mueller/Ben Wilichowski

Again, a HUGE thank you to the team at X-Golf AmFam and our friends at Annex Wealth Management for being the title partner at this year’s open.

When we decided to launch a golf tournament last year, we had no idea what to expect, so it was exciting to sell out all three waves this year and have people come in from Chicago, Madison & Green Bay!

Our mission with Milwaukee Uncut is to bring Milwaukee & Wisconsin together through non-traditional news, entertainment, and experiences. We can’t wait to do more fun/unique events this year, and we’re already looking forward to the next Uncut Open!
